• New Motor Plans Comment/Concerns/Suggestions

My new motor plans have begun. I got my new block in the garage and now the work begins.

1.New Block cryoed and bored .20 over
2.Cryoed oversized forged Ross Racing Pistons
3.10.5:1 Compression
4.L67 rods shot pinned and cryoed
5.Forged Crank cryoed
6.ported and polished heads with 5 angle valve job
7.Custom sized valves
8.Solid roller setup
9.Solid roller cam with .600+ lift
10.Custom Pcm
11.Delete Knock sensors
12.Race prep tranny for high revs and nitrous
13.Shifting at 7000 rpms
14.200+ shot direct port nitrous
15.Seperate fuel cell with 110 octane fuel
16. Holley blue pump for fuel cell

If yall have any more suggestions please post. Also the reason for deleteing Knock Sensors is if the motor blows it deserves to cause it means i have done something stupid to make it blow.

That would be a lot of fun and it is going ALL out... I would still do the 2 cyl mod. definately!!!!! but it's your call.

boring won't be worth much if any at all, at least very minute. Check out the chart I made in the engine section of how bore and stroke affect CI.

Your setup looks solid. Should do very well if finished. Looks like you have all the bases covered. Just do a big stall with big gear and big tires.

Ohh it will get done i can assure you that. Now how long it takes depends on money. I would live off trash and ride a bike for a month if i could do it now.

Damn dude! Sweet setup, looks like you're building almost the exact same setup I have. The only thing I'm not doing is the solid roller valvetrain. Good luck It's taken my shop the better part of 2 months to finally get my engine back together. One thing you might want to look into is the fully-adjustable roller timing chain from intense-racing.
You want to know what\'s on my car? Tough luck!

This is something I gotta see!

Possibly find some true roller rockers, thats about the only thing not in the list I can think of!

are you gonna be willing to set the valves all the time with that solid roller??i dont think you can buy shaft rockers for our motor?? unless the ones off the old Race V6 Buick heads will fit??? theres a guy here that runs NHRA Competition Eliminator that has a 272 Buick V6 that has run a 8.7 before in a doorslammer...it sounds so f-ed up at the track to hear a V6 in a race car...i think it made around 600-650 Flywheel HP
