        Too add technical info.. I wouldn't remove the knock sensors on a blown application. You shouldn't have that much background noise to make them go crazy and they can prolong the life of the motor.

        If you're looking to go that extreme perhaps look into a DFI. You can add a wideband for accurate air/fuel, tune it yourself AND perhaps add an adjustable boost controler that taps into the DFI and reduces boost when KR is present.

            You houston guys are really flyin. [img]smile.gif[/img] It'd be cool if Chicago and Houston weren't so far away we could have a more competative rivalry. [img]smile.gif[/img]

            We have US 41 which is about a 1.5 hour drive but our fastest track around. The DA we see there is pretty decent but I wonder how its average compares to that of HRP's. I hear you guys are -2000 DA on a regular basis.

              This motor isnt gonna be blown only direct port nitrous and the reason i said delete the knock sensors is cause i figured the solid roller would be loud

                Solid roller will definately be loud but it should be on the top of the motor.

                You could always TRY to use the knock sensors at least for NA purposes and then perhaps disable them when you plan to juice.

                    take a gander at zzperformance.com's article section.

                    They have some very good information on knock and how to program out valvetrain noise.

                                yeah im on keiths list because i ask important and indepth questions, such as...

                                in other words, slacker, that sounds like killer plans for the engine, and id have to say try the knock sensors in, as keith said the noise should be at the top, however if you do get the usual false knock that so many people experience, then just get the pcm done by DHP and they can take care of that false knock. however in an application as hardcore as that engine, you never know what else may be a problem. it may not just be the knock sensors you are worried about. Good luck with it man, i know its gonna kick *** .
