    VSS is off. Try resetting the PCM and do 2 cycles. Then try WOT again. Also check the fuse box under the hood.

        VSS = Vehicle Speed Sensor
        WOT = Wide Open Throttle

        My car did that too for some reason when I first bought it. Does it bounce really hard? Mine was really only noticible to me since it only did it once or twice and then shifted.

          i have that problem if i really get on it, the tires spin which cause the rpm's to climb fast thus hitting the rev limiter causing a nice jerking sensation.

            it bounces medium to hard not really hard.
            maybe ill take it to the pontiac dealer so that they can lower the shift points to 5500 rpms instead of 5900 rpms.

              It shouldn't do that. Lowering your shift points will make your car slower.

              I had that problem also right after I had a low voltage problem. Fixed the voltage and 2 drive cycles later it shifted fine again. I was hitting it hard. It would not shift at all just kept bouncing and bouncing unless I let off the gas.

                How many miles are on your car? Could it just be the trans on it's way out? When was the last time you changed the fluid, check all the obvious things first.

                  Did you change the tire size/gear at all?
