  • 1999 Firebird Hypertech Programmer?

I went to the Hypertech website and saw there was only a programmer for 2000-Up Firebirds. Will this one work with the 99 Birds? I wanted to recalibrate the PCM when I install the LSD with 3.42's. I wanted to avoid having to get the SLP processor because with the Hypertech I could use it for other stuff as well.

AFAIK, they're still working on the 98s and 99s. Don't think a 2000 would work for a 99, as the exhaust manifolds might change some of the effects.

I thought it has been said on here, that if you have a '99, you can swap a '00 pcm into it. Then you can use the hypertech. You may want to search and see who has said this, but I'm pretty sure it's been brought up at least a couple of times.
