Are the '94 and '95 computers interchangable as long as the tranny is the same? I need a second for custom programming. I want to keep the original and in original programming.

I used a '95 PCM once and it worked fine. The PCM was from a '95 Camaro(OBDII) and my car is a '94 Firebird (OBDI). We had the same A4 tranny. Don't know if everything was running the way it should but I didn't notice any difference in the car's behavior. When I bought my code reader from AutoXray, they told me that 95's had ODBI but they came equipped with a OBDII port under the dash. He had to send me a different cable because of this. Actually I'm sending mine to fastchip. It's $300 for the reprogramming. I posted about the email I received for him feb 24. Sounds like a good deal to me.
