Paging Redsix... Called Paul... PCM reprogram w/3.42's

Redsix,
I did call Paul in College Station and you were right he will program my PCM to match my LSD/3.42 combo. The only problem is that I need a VIN number from a 1997 3.8L with all the same options as mine except the new VIN needs to have 3.42 already installed.
Did the Y87 package come on the '97 and if so does anyone have a VIN number that I could use to flash my PCM...??

Here is some of my standard equipment:
Power windows/locks
Power driver side seat
Cruise Control
Auto 4-speed 4L60E trans.
T-Tops
16" standard rims
Second Gear Start button on console
Fog Lights control on console

Basically mine had everything but the Y87 package. Paul said that he could do it no problem, I just have to supply him a VIN number that would work.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated...!!!!!

All you need is a VIN from a 97 that came stock with 3.42 gear and the same tranny as yours.

Ditto. I guess I forgot to tell you that. One of my buddys (Silver00) got it done there and I remmember now he had to get a vin number from someone on the board. Goodluck. :D

What's a good VIN go for these days...??

Went to the movies today and saw a brand new Canary Yellow Viper GTS in the parking lot... nice looking little ride if you happen to have about $85,000 in a Mason jar in the back yard...

VIN = $$$

paul did my reprogramming there... he is a good guy. cool as hell. my car according to the PCM is an 00 camaro :D

Hey, will these VIN's remove the top speed limiter..?? If not how did you guys do it if you had program your PCM. My car pulls like H*ll unitl around 97 when it shuts the fuel.
