I believe that SSM sells 1.9" intake valves...i measured the ones on my extra set of heads and the intake valves are 1 13/16". I'm guessing that it will take valves upto 1.9" to increase the flow. I don't know the physics behind it but that is what I hear. Small blocks used to be 11/32 but not sure about the new stuff or V6. I bet it's pretty close. I'd like to know this also...
You do mean stem right? Not head diameter which would be 1.8
