Hey All, I've decided to do a CAM for my next mod due to that great sounding sound clip, that just made up my mind for me. I'll probably have it installed due to the fact that I most likely will forget/lose parts and dont want to "experiment" on my daily driver. I also have no idea what lobe numbers i should be looking at or anything....Im not sure either how a cam effects performance...could someone please help me find a CAM for my car, I would like to order ir and get it installed as soon as i can, thanks all!

i plan on staying N/A cuz if im going to put in THAT much money into my car, I would rather buy my 6's big brother T/A and give HIM the SC, now that would be fun, but I loooove my 6 great power/driveability and it doesnt gouge my wallet with gas costs.... anyways ill stay N/A...MAYBE one day ill add like a 50 dry shot but that would be it... what cam should i be lookin at, i dont understand these numbers very well so if anyone could help me decide on one, that would be great-Hawk<br /><br />===================================<br />Black 2001 Pontiac Firebird<br />Automatic Transmission Street Bird<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/550453\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/550453</a> <br /><br />\"Live like you were Dying\"

If I were you I'd worry about doing LSD and Headers before I got started on a cam.
Just work into it...no rush.
Also you need to find out what kind of emissions testing you have to deal with. Where I am if it throws an SES light it doesnt pass...which is a problem for a lot of cams.Shawn<br />2002 Silver W68 Firebird

www.zzperformance.com has cams for our cars. I'm getting the GT cam. They say that is the best one for N/A applications\"I\'m going to torment you beyond the end of time, and hit you with a steamroller!\"
