i've had my cam in for about 3 weeks now. i'm going to have a 6500 rev limiter this week. i'm still running stock springs and retainers. do i need to upgrade to ls6 springs or can i get away with using the stock one's...

yes, springs and retainers should be done to prevent valve float. the higher rpm's that stock, plus the increased lift will make it hell for the valvetrain w/o springs/retainers. www.intense-racing.com has springs and retainers for about $275.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
