acceleration is fine, stronger than ever. but when I am driving at a constant speed, it rides rough, kinda like sputtering. I dont know what it is. The fuel filter is brand new, the injectors are clean and all read the required voltage, none of the plug wires are arcing, the coils are all good, all the plugs are new and the air filter is clean. I have zero vacuum leaks because it would accelerate rough too and the timing is right on. I can't think of anything else that would cause it to act like this maybe my throttle linkage but thats kinda a little far fetched.

I think you mean its surging. This can happen with cammed cars, when the computer doesn't like it? What cam are you running?

this may not be helpful but ive heard you have to get a special type of cam for computer controlled vehicles such as the 82 and up camaros. Powermax offers computer controlled engine cams for 169.99 if you have to change it out.
