  • Oil pressure probs. need advise

ok when i first crank up my car after it has been sitting everything is fine but after like maybe 20 minutes of driving my oil pressure fluctuates with my throttle majorly and if i stop or just idle it will die down low and even at some times set off the check gauges light but the car runs perfect i have been driving with it like this for i while(not a good idea i know but i have no chioce) i changed oil and filter cause it was a very old filter and i thought it got better but i was wrong

    anyone???

    another oiling problem?

in this case, I would suggest replacing the sending unit. could be as simple as that. whenthe car shuts off, that's when you have bigger problems ;) :(

Sending unit maybe. Have you tried some Lucas Oil Stabilizer? I know it's not a sulution to the problem, but it can be a supplement to your sulution. It helped my oil pressure come up and stay up even at idle.
