well neither of us have stock engines lol.

BTW with ported heads I ran 15.7s although with a ****ty 60 ft like u say. If you conquer the 60 ft you can run the numbers you want.

Its not impossible but it sure ain't easy, the 3.4 is a pita. ;)

mustangeater's times are 1 in 10000 Ive seen over the last 6 years Ive been involved. Don't get your jollies up.

How are your intakes custom? Is it b/c of the LT1 throttle body?

Our intake manifolds let us use the LT1 throttle body. I am using the BBK twin 58mm throttle body and it runs great!
Isnt yalls intake custom in the fact that it has a twin blade throtle body hooked up to it? Is that what you mean, or do you guys have a totally different/custom intake. Just wondering on the options here. Man it was so much easier to mod my SBC, but I think this is funner. :D

I've seen pictures of both their cars and the only thing that is dfferent is the LT1 throttle body mated to a big rectangular metal box then welded to their manifold, check tiago's site...

Did that help alot? How hard was it to do? Was there any problems with the computer as in the TPS sensor. Or are LT1's and 3.4's the same thing basically when it comes to TPS sensors?

Yeah I understand that. I wasnt about to go throw an LT1 dual blade throttle body on a N/A V6. Thanks,

If you get a cam and wish to make some really decent numbers, you will want to look into this mod (enhancing the 3.4L V6 upper intake manifold. It will allow the engine to breathe MUCH better obviously offering more power from the cam.

ive got a 3.4 in my 88 camaro. its got the 2.8 intake setup on it. im going to use the old 2.8 heads and the intake and port and polish them along w/ the t/b, bigger springs. ive already got 1.52 roller tip rockers and high energy pushrods. im thinking about going to 1.6 roller rockers. what do you all think the best cam(s) are for this engine set up?
ive also got a high flow cat, dynomax catback, and a few other minor things here and there.

DrDave, you really need to rig up some headers to get that engine to breathe with a new cam.

I am going to use a LS1 tb on my V6. I have the IAC fitted on there and am working on the 85-92 TPS adaptor.
That should give lots of air to the valves.
The mod was going to include a 3'' pipe cut into the plenum hooked up to the tb with a flange.

For the thirdgen guys, Have you seen Jerriko's intake? TPI tb, badass. I'm planning on butchering a big Honda butterfly valve and modifying my own intake assy. Ought to work pretty good once the CAM is in.
