I know I am probably off by a long shot but did you remember to disconnect your battery and reconnect it? So it will reset the PCM?

Is it current or a history code? I still get a history code pop up all the time. It goes away for a few days after I reset the PCM, but always comes back.

Same thing happened to me. This is what you do. Go buy like a pipe cleaner take off the pipe leading from the egr to the manifold clean it out real good and do the same with the connections that cleared it up for me. Use some throttle body cleaner or carb cleaner too.

Well, I did it. It's clean. My hands reek of solvent and I wasted six pipe cleaners. I reset the PCM again. I'll know tomorrow on my drive to work if this did the trick. I have my doubts though.

Edit: I did that on Monday and here it is... THURSDAY and still no SES light. I think this may have done the job. I cleaned it out with brake cleaner when I replaced my EGR. This time, I dropped it in my carb dip for about an hour and hit it with the pipe cleaners. That sucker was gleaming when I took it out. Unfortunately the dip ate through my latex gloves in a matter of seconds.

Well it's cheaper then the 200 I spent for the dealer to clean it. I just sprayed it then after they said they cleaned it I was pissed.

Oh man, I am so happy! :D If only I could fit my entire intake into that carb dip. I'm now on a cleaning kick. Going to pick up some MORE Seafoam and hit that upper system one more time.

Seafoam is a cleaner. There are two types. There is the type you put in your tank and oil and then a spray that you spary into your throttle body. It removes carbon deposits.

What??? A spray? They certainly don't have the spray in my neck of the woods. That would be very cool! I'm just pouring it straight into my vacuum line, but I think I'd much rather spray it in there. Come to think of it, I'll just go buy a spray bottle(duh). I want to clean out that upper intake really good and I think the vacuum method avoids that part.

OK, wait a second? I have been posting about this problem for a while!!! What did you remove and clean? I replaced all of the gaskets and did not really clean the pipes, but they looked ok (still got the codes with a new EGR). Did you remove everything? Top and bottom and clean it? Or did you just clean the the piece going to the intake?

PLEASE HELP ME I NEED TO GO THRU EMISSION SOON AND THEY SCAN FOR CODES!

I removed the EGR to Intake hose. The one that looks flexible, but isn't. I cleaned it with the most hardcore solvent known to man and a bag of footlong pipe cleaners. I could have probably avoided a lot of headaches by buying a new one from the dealer, but this seemed to work. Just clean and clean and clean... and when you think you're done... clean some more. Wish me luck. I let is soak in Seafoam for a while then went at it with a wire pipe cleaner and a brillo pad...I reconnected my SES light, so I hope this works.

Let me ask this. The one of the gaskets has a smaller hole, did you leave this in place or remove it?

Well I'll be god-damned. I scrubbed that darm pipe like no tomorrow and it worked. No codes! I even reconnected my SES light wire.
