Out of curiosity would it be a safer bet to install a Supercharger on top of the SuperSix package once it's been installed or can it be thrown on a stock engine? The car is a '88 auto with mods but nothing to the engine except a Jet Chip which would be pulled out if the supercharger is put in.
Other thing is would that chip work with a Supersix upgrade if I decide not to get the supercharger anytime soon.
The supersix package will not increase the structural integrity of the engine so waiting to add the supercharger won't make a difference.
Also, when you do a cam or SC.. It might be a good idea to remove the Jet SCU in favor of a MAF T+. The Jet SCU doesn't allow custom tuning where as with the MAF T+ you can make fine adjustments to get the desired WOT conditions out of your vehicle.

pardon my ignorance as I am trying to learn , but what is meant when the heads and manifold are ported? and what would make a more aggressive cam profile?

So the low end power stays the same...what just happens you get more HP through the whole RPM range or do you just get more high end power i.e higher top speed?
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
