Problem is I wanna get a Stage 1 performance chip for my 1985 Camaro but I have a 1994 3.4L engine in it. so do i buy the chip to fit with the original car and wiring or a chip to work with the engine? I cant figure this one out by myself, any insight is appreciated.

well you had to change the original computer to the 94's 3.4 computer during the engine swap right? buy the one made for the 94 3.4\'94 Firebird, 3.4 M5.<br />Arctic white w/ red anniversary stripe. ASP underdrive pulley set, Magnaflow 2.5\" stainless catback, CAT, Pacesetters, K&N FIPK2, 1000 watt stereo system capped 1F, Eagle Alloys 16\" 077\'s, 180 Deg. Thermo. -
Well i looked on the Jet Chip site and it seems that the 1985 Computer System uses a chip setup while the 1994 setup uses a module setup. are you sure there backwards compatible ¿Proving that import racers aint got **** on Domestic Muscle. Yeh i havnt finished the swap completley so its not finished which is why at this point Im doing all my performance enhancments before I close the engine up. Can i run the car without a chip for a while? will the 3.4 run with a 2.8 chip? does anybody know anything about this?Proving that import racers aint got **** on Domestic Muscle.
