  • Is This Correct?

    Well i want to build a turbo 3.8. Can you tell me if im on the right path.

    Heres my list:
    used 3.8 motor
    fff turbo kit
    t70 0r bigger
    ported heads
    ported intake
    diamond racing forged piston kit
    l32 powdered conectin rods
    slp aluminum roller rocker arms pkg
    cam
    crank hardened
    msd dis-4
    msd ignition control with boost control
    msd coils
    msd wires
    ngk spark plugs
    spearco intercooler front mounted
    3" exhaust piping all the way to the back
    aeromotive a2000 fuel pump rated at 500-2000 hp
    aeromotive fuel filter
    aeromtive billet fuel pump controller
    accel 48 #/lb injectors
    any nitrous kit for it to spray on the intercooler to have a massive temp drop
    optima battery
    custom tunning
    B&M 4l60e custom transmission
    4.10 gearing
    aluminum driveshaft
    Is it a V8? NO! It's a v6 foo

    everything sounds fine except with anything bigger than a t70 u will have massive amounts of lag and also it would be much more cost effective to have a methanol injection instead of the nitrous

    btw it must be nice to have such a big budget that should be quite a set-up if u go through with it

      can i get you guys to recommend some parts
      or some advice if you can. i do need some help.

        If the turbo car is built for drag I wouldn't worry about lag because you can just rev it high at the line until it spools up before you launch (like supras do [img]smile.gif[/img] )

          How soon do you plan on doing this project?? I have some recommendations, but it all depends. You want streetable, or full race setup?

            a larger turbo will be fine for a track only car but it will not be very streetable if you go larger than a t70 is what i was trying to say

              im going to try to make it as streetable as i can. so ill stay with the t70
