Bidding on a ALUMINUM DRIVE SHAFT on ebay. Just wondering what I can expect from this mod when I install it.

    Thanks all

Shouldn't you do your research on a product before buying it? ;)

You won't notice a huge gain. In fact, you may or may not notice any difference, besides possibly some more vibration.

I like mine, felt a slight change in power, easy install, you might need to refill trans fluid, because when you take the slip yoke out of the trans end it tends to leak a bit, so make sure you have a bucket to catch that fluid, and a quart or two of trans fluid to refill it when you are done. As for the install, on the rear driveshaft there are 4 small bolts that need to be removed, at that point the brackets that the bolts were holding should come off, and you should be able to pry the driveshaft out of the rearend. Then you can remove the bolts from the carrier bearing (if you have the 2 piece driveshaft) and then you can slip the yoke out of the transmission. Then install is the reverse, slip the yoke into the transmission, install rear u-joint. It took me less than a half hour to do.
