none, you can't gain horse power from adding a suspension mod. It will drop your ets though.2000 Camaro, Pewter Metallic, M5 tranny, 3.23 gears, Hard Top,

Modifications:
SLP loudmouth (dual/dual tips)
MSD 8.5mm wires
K&N airfilter
SS hood (don\'t buy from fiberglassfabricators.com!!!)
Spec stage 2 clutch

A close friend of mine has a 2002 M6 Firehawk. BMR LCA's and Torque arm nearly eliminated his wheelhop, he LOVES that torque arm. Says its the best suspension mod next to subframe connectors he's done on the car.-1999 Camaro Coupe 3800 Series II V6 A4 - SOLD
-1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe

Yea but the stock torque arm flexes and allows some torque and HP to be absorbed by the chassy. By going with the tublar arm you gain that lost hp and torque. The 3.8 engine with the high flow intake exaust and tuning will put out 250 hp and 270 ft lbs at the crank. That is your power pool. The more suspension and hooking mods you add the more power you draw from that pool. Stock we loose about 15% i think by the time it gets to the rear wheels. Adding the torque arm will drop that 15% therefor adding HP and Torque. Now my ? is what % do i gain?

well, once the car in moving you gain none back from the loss. its only gained on launch. and since car are dynoed with the wheels already in motion to start, it cannot be measured.95 Firebird
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/673250
http://photobucket.com/albums/y217/andrewbrandon19/

me on a good day------> linky

if you have problems while launching such as wheel hop then a good aftermarket torque arm will help.
bump around the suspension forum here and at ls1tech.com to read reports of how ET's have improved after things like torque arms and LCA's.
I would rather have subfram connectors than a new torque arm. I don't bracket race though.
I would also rather have an aluminum drive line than an aftermarket torque arm. The lighter drive line will improve acceleration even when the car is moving. The SFC's stiffen up the chassis so that the frame of the car is less involved in the total suspension and is more of a platform for the rest of the suspension.
