  • '96 and '00-02 electronics?

Are the electronics totally different? My friend has a '96 Camaro 3800 and was wondering what the difference was in the '00-'02 Camaro 3800. We were wondering if the computers could be interchanged so we could use a programmer on it. I can change plugs and pins around if the electronics are about the same, so we can use the newer computer. If anyone knows the differences in the electronics and if this can be done, all info will be appreciated.

We are still modding the car, but will post some times soon. As on now best time is 9.23 in the 1/8th with traction problems. Working on suspension now.

Well, you'll be dealing with a electronic throttle instead of your old cable setup so scratch some of the old sensors on the TB. If you need to use the newer TB then you'll need the new intake with, from what I heard won't fit under the hood. From experience I know you'll have to change your o2 sensors, coolant temp sensor and knock sensors, injectors all are different.
