I did a search, and I couldn't find what I was looking for. Basicaly, I'm going to be installing a set of polished intakes, and a new set of lifters, b/c of a loud tapping from the engine. Anyways, I don't race the car much, but as long as I'm going to have the intakes off and lifters out, I'd like to install a cam that would give me more midrange torque and no ses codes. The car is an A4, and like I said it rarely sees redline, so is their a cam that would help me? or should I just replace the lifers, and forget it?

The ZZP GT cam will work fine for your application and give you a good dose of horsepower to boot.. :D2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears. Current best ET. 15.232 89.09 MPH 2.175 60ft on stock 3.42\'s and open diff.<a href=\"http://www.geocities.c

I like the specs of this cam with the exception of the LSA and IC. The ZZP cam is designed for peak horsepower and a steep curve. If you are looking for more torque (flatter curve) the IC should be retarded a bit more and maybe move the LSA up to 114 or so. Remember, comp cams will custom grind cams for you so you dont' have to get a zzp or intense cam. The rest of the board will jump in here i'm sure, but i would think the gt cam specs with a 114lsa and 111 or 112 IC would better suit your needs.Eclipse 8443, CDT ES-620s in doors (Clarion APX401.2), IEK, CDT 6X in rear(HU), Image Dynamics ID10v.3D.4 in stealthbox(Clarion DPX1001.2)<br /><a href=\"http://www.sounddomain.com/id/larryfirebird33\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.sounddomain.com/id/larryfirebird33</a><br />borla cat-back, FTRA, whisper lid

So if I go with the retaded IC, and a wide lobe seperation, I can run 210 duration, and the computer will be fairly happy? The comp 200/206 is very streetable. It is smaller than I would like though. If you want a decent midrange kick in the a$$, and 30+ mpg, get the 200/206. If you want serious power, get a cam with over .510 lift.1999 red camaro v6 M5: with a turbo<br />13.52@107.99<br />No, seriously: Who Farted? <br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086</a>

my 200/206 has decent duration, but all the guys with bigger cams put down better #s than I did.
When I had that cam, a stock short block and heads, and a 100 dry shot, I put 280hp and 340 tq to the wheels. That isn't much power considering the nitrous boost.1999 red camaro v6 M5: with a turbo<br />13.52@107.99<br />No, seriously: Who Farted? <br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086</a>

So the 200/206 will not cause any computer codes to be thrown?Turbocharged and intercooled.<br />17psi(oops), stock fuel pump, no FMU<br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/phoenix64\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/phoenix64</a> <br />Video: <a href=\"ftp://ftp.pfabrication.com\" target=\"_blank\">ftp://ftp.pfabrication.com</a> Assorted car ****: TurboCamaroFull.

Dude use the GT cam with a wider lsa if you want a flat torque curve. It won't set the P0300 code read the website.2000 Firebird. So are there any disadvantages to going with the GT cam over the 200/206? Gas mileage, or idle?Turbocharged and intercooled.<br />17psi(oops), stock fuel pump, no FMU<br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/phoenix64\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/phoenix64</a> <br />Video: <a href=\"ftp://ftp.pfabrication.com\" target=\"_blank\">ftp://ftp.pfabrication.com</a> Assorted car ****: TurboCamaroFull.

In the catalog of Comp cams they have three listed for our engines.
One for low rpm and mid range, another one for high performance N/A. and the other is for a blower or nitrous application.
I believe the first one is what you are looking for. I wont pull hard at higher rpms (4800) but it will give you better bottom end and mid range.
GOOD LUCK!

i did some reasearch on cams a while back, and as far as i remember everyone that had gotten the 210/210 GT cam has problems with getting the multi misfire code. i could be wrong, but that is what i remember.2000 pewter firebird<br />Short Throw Shifter, Whisper Lid, Whisper Ram Air, Holley Filter, B&B Triflo, LSD, BMR LCA, STB, PHR, and sway bars (32/21).<br />Power window conversion

my 200/206 never threw any codes.
It will not yield as much power as other cams though. If I could do it all over again, I would get a bigger cam.
I am not dissappointed enough to get a new cam. the 206 is still 100% better than stock.1999 red camaro v6 M5: with a turbo<br />13.52@107.99<br />No, seriously: Who Farted? <br /><a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086</a>
