I talked to tom at super six today about getting their head treatment and he said they do the p&p, 3-angle valve job, and comp spring. I was originally going to do the full comp valve train package that AMM offers but not sure now, do you guys think its worth it or should I just stick with the comp springs that Super Six puts on.

I was under the impression that Tom puts Comp 915 or 918 springs on the heads anyway. They are good for whatever camshaft selection you decide to throw at them. The only other things you need are hardened pushrods and of course your bolts and gaskets.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

get the P&P heads from SSM and let him upgrade the springs for you, that way there already assembled and you dont have to mess with it. Use his heads with upgraded springs and keep stock rockers and upgrade the pushrods.

personally i think they are hella expensive seeing as ive never seen anyone's #'s after installing them
the 3.4L and 3.8L are compleetly different motors ... just because someone is talented at porting one type of heads dosent mean they have the experience and touch for another type of head... look at ,many local porting shops, they have guys that specalize in one, maybe 2 o3 types of heads ..
dont get me wrong im sure that they are better than the stock heads 100% , however i feel that until someone posts some ground breaking #'s with them you are better off going with a local shop to get your heads ported (then you dont have to worry about shipping them and the turn around will probably be faster)-Aaron, AKA ATL2001
93 3.4L
www.ilfba.com

I was assuming he was asking about 3.8 heads. My bad. I know tom does very good port and polish work. And has good customer service. I dont have experience with his 3.4 heads and i dont know if they flow as well as his 3.8 heads do. I do know he has great quality and workmanship on his 3.8 heads. I would assume he could get a pair of 3.4 heads to flow also.
