Slightly OT but no one on S10 board has responded.
I have an 01 S10 4.3 which has misfires and has had since new.
First dealer cleaned injectors twice, replaced one(they only have 2 cuz its TBI) and I still get misfires. It set code PO300,took it to another dealer and they charged me $125 for fuel injection cleaning(less than 10K since last dealer did this).
They claimed they wouldnt go any further with diagnostics until that was done.
I still get misfires when checking on autotap and it still runs rough. They replaced the coil and wire when they just did the injector service. Service tech said its normal for misfires as they are going on all the time.
I say BS cuz I checked 3 other GM cars I have and none show misfires.Dealer also said that none of the other GM cars I checked were as new. Can someone with an 01 or newer check it with an autotap and tell me what you find.
