  • Engine rebuild

My engine has developed a rod knock. In addition to the mods listed, I have added a throttle body spacer and an intercooled powerdyne. I am running 8lb. of boost with a 2.75 ASP pulley. I am looking for advice regarding engine internals to purchase for rebuild i.e. forged pistons 8.5:1 or 9.5:1, L32 rods? Suggested head work? I want power and durability.
    Thanks in advance!

Lots of factors there. Doing a search and reading all you can will help a lot.

    L32 rods
    Diamond forged/coated pistons (8.5:1)
    clevite bearings
    arp hardware
split duration cam favoring exhaust with a wide LSA 115 or so.
Intense, abbotracing, ZZP, and Supersixmotorsports all have ported and polished heads
All the things to compliment your heads and cam
springs, retainers, pushrods, lifters, locks, seals.

That gives you something to start with!
