I am one that has done it, and love it. Like 94firebirdv6 said, if it's the same year it's a lot easier. If you change years things get more complicated.1998 Firebird w/ LS1 & A Few Mods

Pictures-->www.fad2blk.smugmug.com

I have done it as well and love it. If you have a donor car right next to you it will make the swap 100 times easier.2000 Firebird
old setup - Automatic Whisper lid, Borla catback, shift kit w/ V8 servo, 3.42 gears w/ LSD, PI 3000 converter,

14.703@90.92, 2.01 60\' (intake and exhaust)

new setup swapped over to LS1 413.9rwhp/398.7rwtq
www.thunderracing.com
