• N/A 3.8l to Supercharged 3.8l?

i had an idea (probably not the first time someone's mentioned this) but could the supercharged 3800 series II from the supercharged Grand Prix GTP (and now the Impala SS and Monte Carlo SS) be thrown into an F-Body? what would i need to do to make the swap possible? and would it even be worth it, considering i could get the Powerdyne SC kit instead?

No, basically the biggest problem you would have is the intake manifold is backwards. Your air filter would be right next to the fire wall. Theres not enough room for that. Search forced induction this is not advanced tech at all.

I do believe it has been done though. I think you had to get the Australia L67 since they have RWD L67s down there. I think Chris White was working on something like that.

( I did some research myself cause I was thinking about it.)

Another good place to find more info would be www.l67swap.com

eaton does make a conversion kit for the superchargers found on the gtp...it sells for 3500 and to get it installed your looking at another grand...it not worth the money to get so little horsepower.. were talking maybe a 100hp. dependeing on the mods done.....this according to Eaton.
Too many mods to list! To see what I have done, check out my car domain website -->
http://www.cardomain.com/id/2k2firebird21

There expecting you to probably just throw on the S/C and thats about it. There is so much more with an L67 swap than there is to the L36. Go with the L67, intercooler, 3.0-2.8 pulley, Cam and exhaust, you better be high to mid 12s, along with some PCM programming.

Hrm, I want to say it was the concorde???????

Someone posted pics of their car up on our site one time, but I cannot find them now since we had to reset our server. The pulley was at the front of the engine bay, and the TB was near the TB kinda like the 03 Cobras are set up.
