Today I was driving home from my grandparents house and as I was braking, my check gauges light came on and I looked down, only to see that I had no oil pressure. I turned the car off, and popped the hood, everything looked okay, so I started it back up, and the oil pressure was all back, WTF happened? anyone ever have this happen before?

The only time I see that is when an old 2.8 or 3.4 is about to die.
The hot oil and it sloshing to the frount, droping oil pressure from engine rpms slowing fast, cause it to drop fast.
I would take it in to the shop.
The pick up could have fallen out of its hole, seen that before.

Been there done that, it was my oil sending unit. I've heard a lot of people who have had this problem. All of them that I know, including myself, just had a bad oil sending unit.
