Bigger than 218 would be wasted with stock tuning you mean right? HP Tuners is the solution to that! What performance vehicle (factory production) runs to thei full potential while only spinning their motor to the factory rev limiter? Not many if at all!
And I'll agree with you need only so much duration for any given amount of displacement per cylinder. We have a little more per cylinder than a 5.0L motors (Chevy and Ford), and they run cams bigger than 220 duation consistantly for performance applications.
I think this will be interesting in the next month or so. I see alot of the current conceptions of this motor changing with the release of comprehensive tuning.www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!

I will find one who knows this motor though (if anyone has a suggestion of who I should be talking to, please advise!), and it will be at least 220 intake duration, possibly a bit more. Tuning will be released shortly, and I believe the norm for the V6 cams is going to get larger:)

It sucks. It stalls all the time, has a weak powerband and the gas mileage is terrible.
Don't buy this cam! ;)\'97 Camaro: GN Turbo w/intercooler, 3.42s w/ Auburn HD posi, Bulletproof 4L60E-HD, stage II shift kit, Vette servo, MSD Ign, K&N, Ported TB/MAF, 3\" FlowMaster, 160* thermo, HPTuners v1.6

I pulled a 15.4 spinning through first in current form (3.08 open A4), so with my new 3.42 LSD rear, and this cam (and maybe better tires to hook with), low 14s aren't unreasonable.\'97 Camaro: GN Turbo w/intercooler, 3.42s w/ Auburn HD posi, Bulletproof 4L60E-HD, stage II shift kit, Vette servo, MSD Ign, K&N, Ported TB/MAF, 3\" FlowMaster, 160* thermo, HPTuners v1.6
