I did some searching through the forums already on this topic and I've noticed some people have mentioned they knew how to test the ignition control module. My car hasn't been running right and as part of my search for an answer I took off the coils to test them and the connection points from the ICM to the ECM. The coils were ok and the connection points that I knew of were ok but after I put everything back together I can't even get the car to start. At first when I turned the key I didn't get anything... I had power on everything else but the starter never budged. I just took the ICM again then to inspect it some more and after putting it back together I did get the engine turning but the car still wouldn't start and after trying a couple of times to get it going all of a sudden it stopped turning over and went back to nothing like the first time. Anyway I'm suspecting that the ICM is my problem but I would like to know for sure before I go out and spend money on a new one so if someone could tell me how to test it or give me a schematic that shows every connection in detail (I have one now but it doesn't show where all of the connections go) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I'm not sure how you can test it, but i have one that I will sell you for like $12-15 shipped. MY reason for selling it is because i just finished a complete rebuild, and in the process I purchased a new icm, and msd ignition coils. I had no problems with this one, and it is an ac delco. Like i said before the rebuild i had no misfiring, or engine studdering, the car ran great. I would have no problem shipping this thing out to you. let me know.
