I'm getting white smoke from my exhaust, and my coolant is low, so I'm pretty sure I've got a leaking head gasket. How bad is it to drive with a leaking head gasket, and how hard is it to fix?

You will need to remove the manifolds to get to them...which is a pain...but not hard.
Just hope that your bolts aren't as bad as some peoples are....(being a 94 its not gonna be pretty though)
You can compleatly ruin the engine if you drive it.
Unlike aluminium if you have a bad head gasket you can fix it with out any other problems.
If your head gasket dies slow there is more chance of damage.
You could change it and it wouldn't be to hard.

Agreed. Change asap. If you catch it early you might just be looking at replacing a gasket. If your not or wait to long you may be facing a warped or cracked head...cracked block or both.
When you have it all aprart might as well thrown in a new cam and refresh the top end.
I agree, change it asap. You could easily warp a head or the even the block. If the coolant is mixing with the oil which im sure it is the oil is no longer lubricating and protecting like it should. You could seize the bottom end if you drive to long.
