    Help Me out?

    I have a 1998 a4. I just did a gear swap to 3.42 lsd. I have a computer diagnostic guy at a local dealership that says he can recalibrate my pcm for those gears, but I have to have a VIN number from a 1998 y87 f-body with an automatic. So, would someone that meets this criteria please e-mail me their VIN number, so I can get this done. My e-mail, bnkeller@hotmail.com

    Can anyone help me? How much is it worth to someone to write down their VIN, I'll pay a reasonable price.

      Uh oh, now we have 2 Ironman's on the board. this is going to get confusing. I thought you were Mike huff then I looked closer.

          That is exactly what I need, but I need a 1998 Y87 VIN, that one is a 1997. Unless there is no difference between PCM for those years. Thanks for your help.

                  Thanks John D. It worked great! He just reflashed my pcm with your VIN and everything was corrected for the new gear install.

                    Hate to jump in your post like this, but I am too lazy to start another. I have also been looking for a VIN after gears and LSD, and need a VIN for a '00 car that had 3.42 stock. Mine's a 5 speed, but from what I hear, that doesn't matter. Thanks in advance!
