Actually Wes Blair has run 13.3 with that cam. Intense suggests their stage 2 heads for that cam, or heads comparable to them. I haven't heard of an F-body using that cam. It would require significant tuning to get it to run correctly.
2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears. Current best ET. 15.232 89.09 MPH 2.175 60ft on stock 3.42\'s and open diff.<a href=\"http://www.geocities.c
You would need some PCM work done definatly. Ive heard you can use Vitron seals to use with the stock heads. Heads are the way to go if your gonna go aftermarket cam anyway. There are usually some good shops that can do heads for a decent price though. I think theres one in the Chicagoland area that does them for 400 I think.

Sweet, tuning isn't gonna be a problem. Once HPtuners supports 97 PCMs, I'll swap PCMs.
Looks like I'm gonna be an Fbody guinnie pig with this cam.
I plan on having a local shop do the headwork instead of paying $1500 for a new set of heads, what exactly do I need to have them do to the heads so the cam will fit?

Personally I'd have them milled .30 and use the Viton seals for added clearance just to be safe.

Hello every one, ozzy here ive been looking at this page for weeks now finally joined. So my question is why is it that every turbo build forum just ends...
Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
