This new forum is more or less Keith's baby... and no, the moderators selected are tentative (I believe) until I get a response from them.
I'm going to let Keith and the other mods here decide what goes into General and what goes into Advanced. The basic rule is that Advanced is to cut down on clutter. In this way you don't have to flip through pages upon pages of "which CAI is best" and "how much hp does such-and-such brand catback add" posts. Topics that belong in here are engine rebuilds, cams, heads, lifters, tranny specs, etc. etc. Topics for General are repair and maintenance issues, bolt-on mods, etc.
Basically, if a mod is listed under the bolt-on section of the Modifications Encyclopedia then it belongs in General. ;)
Also, every post in this forum will be archived, so we will be IRON FISTED about moderating. Expect 2-3 topics to be moved out/deleted/locked/whatever per day. The idea is if all of the in-depth technical discussions are saved then you can use the Search feature before needing to ask the same question all over again.
"And to cover today's topics, here is Keith and Robert..."
