Hard to say why without knowing the exact code. Get it scanned to find out what it's saying.

Also remember that it takes a few cycles for the PCM to realize the problem has been fixed. Fixing the problem will not turn the SES off right away.

did you get a high flow cat too? that will make it go off.

if you have an autozone around you they will run your car on the computer and tell you the codes you are pulling

Pull the PCM BAT, and the PCM IGN fuses for like 30 seconds.

Take it to autozone to get scanned.

If its something like CATylitic inefficiency error(forget the code) its realted to your high flo cat.

You might need a 02 sim or tune to delete the code.

Get the code scanned, and if you have a problem where you shut the car off and start it again and the code disapears, leave teh car on and have them check it with the car on and the code on.

Do what he says, see what happens. If the light is still on, then take it to Autozone, get the thing scanned. Then come back here, and see what problems you have with the codes that you got, we can go from there.

i put the new wire on, drove around for about 20 min, by the time i got home, i realized the light went away, so i think when i burned up the first wire and it was missing real bad and the light came up, then changed wires, just took alittle bit to recognize that my **** aint broken
