    you're kidding me, right? Where are you gonna find a good LT1 w/ tranny and ECU/wiring harnesses, for $1500? Let's not forget, that's not all there is to it. Then you have fuel upgrades, cooling upgrades, dash board upgrades, mounts, etc. They you still have a stock LT1. And switching the motors isn't a matter of a couple days like a head and cam swap

      try www.hpsalvage.com Ill be doing it soon but it's is closer to 2300 and install it myself.

        well with the v6 with heads/cam it will be a close race to an lt1. the v6 is cheaper on insurance, and when you reply with "ill have a v8 paying v6 insurance" that is insane dont 4get if you neglect to tell the insurance adjuster you dropped a v8 in and you mess up the motor or anything to do with the v8 the insurance will basically tell you to kiss their booootay

          why drop a lt1 in? like everyone else, i like seeing the face of people with a mustang 5.0 and popping the hood and showing them that they just got their a$$ kicked by a v6*
