  • Should I run 19 lb injectors & AFPR with this set-up?

Ok, I currently am running a 3.4 with ported heads, headers, 1.6 roller tipped rockers, headers, full cat-back, and FIPK for the major mods. Here in about a month, ported intakes with an LT1 tb are going on. Would I benifit from going with 19lb injectors and an AFPR? Or would it be wise to wait until I definetly need it (forced induction later, or N2O.

Yeah, you will benifit. You will really tell a difference when you do a cam. You should install a DIS-4 box, MSD coils and some good wires also to make sure you ignite all of the fuel being dumped into the cylinders. I am running the above ignition setup with Nology wires and I have my fuel pressure at 47 psi with 19lb injectors and it puts out a lot of power. I will be on the dyno sometime soon to find out exactly how much now that the engine is broken in.

Alright, So a TPI AFPR works in our cars and then injectors from z28. Are there any other cars that use the same 19# injectors as what we could use? Can the stock fuel pump keep up with this? I'm running new rapidfire plugs and Taylor 8mm wires.

Also, you said that you're running 47 psi with a cam, if i'm still running with the stock one, should I be in the 40-45 psi range?

When you put in the injectors, you will actually lower the psi to around 30 most likely. As far as the fuel pump, it will hold up to the new demand.
