ok I have about 100k on my L36 right now. I know my engine wont last forever, but if i went with some new heads, camshaft, springs, maybe the supersix package, basically the whole valvetrain, would that be like running with a new engine? I of course would be using the same stock 231 block

With 100K on the engine you're probably okay but personally I would install BRAND NEW headgaskets on it when you go to change the cam/valvetrain and put stress on the engine.
Might as well put a new waterpump in it for good measure, change out the timing gear set and chain, and just essentially rebuild the tophalf "just in case" if you decide to tear it open.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

I have 120K on mine and it still's running strong.
