  • GMPP Cam

    Ok, this is the cam i wanna run, but not sure if it has the cam sensor lobe on it. it is the very first cam on the page. part number 12363220. can anyone tell by the pic if it has a cam sensor lobe on it?
    1997 Camaro 15.3@91 with a 2.35 60ft-B&M Ripper, SLP Knob, SLP CAI, LT1 DS, EBC Pads. 1994 Camaro(Sadly Sold)-Hi flow cat, custom flowmaster american thunder cat back, KN FIPK, Accel wires, Plat plugs, 160 thermo, Fastchip, Pacesetters.

    I replied to your other post about this. Like I said, it will not have it. Its the same cam I have but with a different LSA. You will thank me later, when I tell you to do a custom grind. They are about the same price, and you could freakin make that cam if you wanted too, but with a cam sensor lobe. Good luck. ;)

      i am trying to make a custom grind, i emailed lunati and comp cams on the 13, and they said i would get a reply in a few days, well no reply yet. i sent them both snail mails too.
      1997 Camaro 15.3@91 with a 2.35 60ft-B&M Ripper, SLP Knob, SLP CAI, LT1 DS, EBC Pads. 1994 Camaro(Sadly Sold)-Hi flow cat, custom flowmaster american thunder cat back, KN FIPK, Accel wires, Plat plugs, 160 thermo, Fastchip, Pacesetters.

        Dont know what to say. I honestly made a bad choice by putting in my GMPP. I seriously wish I did a custom grind. Good luck. ;)

          Thanks for all the help. I finally found a comp cam with teh sensor tab on it. its got like 212 dur at 050 and 440 lift i think. so it should run well i hope.

                    hey man, if your still wanting to get a custom grind from comp, let me know! Ill do what i can to help you out. The guys at comp are good about coming up with great cams to match exactly what you have/want!

                      cane with 16. rockers .451 lift
                      im assumming with comp you get around .453

                      comp has the cam trigger right?
