Question for Matt or anyone else on pcm

I just called texas-speed about getting my maro tuned. I have a 96 so i know i would need a 97 pcm. I talked to trevor and he went and asked jason about it and he said he only has the software to tune 98 and ups. I thought i could get mine tuned with a 97 pcm and i know a 98 wont just bolt in so i am lost on what to do.

Trevor called me to verify this information, ad I told him it wa incorrect. They can and will be glad to tune your 96 with a 97 PCM [img]smile.gif[/img] He should have already, but be sure he gets you the 97 PCM flashed and tuned for your 96 car. ENJOY!

Will i need to get them the VIN number out of a 97 or can they do that? Also i am having trouble getting a 97 pcm so i was wondering if tsp could get one for me.

They can get you one (this takes a bit longer than if you find one, since they have to wait for GM sometimes). You can find a VIN on Autotrader, or post up here and someone can get you one.
