    HELP! CompCams Blower cam 1X? ..springs?

    CompCams Blower cam. 210/220 .512/.512 115LS

    sorry but i need fast answers..anyone know how this cam rides?..i hear it is great NA and on juice for our cars..Pewter2K1 noticed a gain of 41 rwhp without even tuning..then ran 14.6 NA..what i mean though is..is it really lopey?..will it set codes? (i dont care too much about that cuz i have HP Tuners)..will it make me run really rich?..will i need springs?..etc..more power is nice but i still want a smooth ride and all..thanks!

    hey man, i got your email, but i accidentally deleted it. Shoot me another email and ask any questions you need. I have had the cam for almost 2 years and have learned alot, dynos, track times, AF ratios and everything.

      just the guy i was hoping to hear from [img]smile.gif[/img] ..i'll email this in case you dont see here..basically i just asked the above questions

      i also asked what time you ran NA before the cam when you ran 14.6 NA

      also did you do springs?..cuz i really didnt want to have to do that..just the cam swap and thats that..but would do it if i really had to

      for obvious reasons i want to run more NA and tuned power and less juice..this is only if they do have to take out the bottom end..if its just top end (head gasket) i was gonna do P&P heads/intakes (i may see if i can powder coat them red though) but its my daily driver and i dont have 3 - 4 weeks to wait!             on the stock PCM (lower shift points) ..would i need springs for this cam..it says everything can be stock..sorry for my persistance but i go in the hospital tomorrow morning while my car is still in the shop so i need quick answers! [img]smile.gif[/img]

                I wanna know to, How much are you spending on your cam setup??
                Why hop up a V6, cuz $724 a month for insurance is a little steep.

                  im hoping no more than $500..i dont want anything too crazy..something not too aggresive..and thats only if my motor has to come out anyway

                    if i go with a cam i think im just going to keep it simple..no sprnigs/retainers..just the cam and tune..so i think i may just go with the ZZP GT1
