and coffee~ hmm..many people recommand...
HPtune... i know.. what it is...
but.. i am worried about i can use it or not~
if i use HPtune, i might mess my ECU~
so i prefer send ECU to taxas speed.com...
it will be more safe for me..
but.. if you think i can handle...it rightly...
i will try.. hehet~^^;
how do you think..if i use HPtune.. can i use
it rightly? or safetly?
with as many modifications you have it is probably safer to learn how to use the HPtuners software and do it yourself. mail order tunes are helpful, however with N2O, and a supercharger creating an A/F table for a car that isnt present will be very difficult and will not yeild the best results
I completely agree! it may be hard for you to read what you're doing with the language barrier, but I'm sure you can figure it out. I'd email them first and make sure it will work with your car though. with it behing different from us US people there might be a different operating system or something on it. I'm sure they can help you out. of course if you've have mail order tune before then chances are it'll work.
First, I think its awesome someone in korea is trying to make their V6 fly. I would hope our members could be a little more helfpul to our over seas friend.
Woojong, I see you needing the following things for you car:
Weight reduction. Make the car LIGHT!
Race wheels and tires. You need to HOOK the car!
More boost. 6psi will not cut it. Perhaps more boost or add nitrous
Custom tuning. You will need to learn how to tune it yourself. You will reach 11's much quicker if you can easily make changes at the track. I didn't know they had race tracks in korea?!?!
Do you have heads/cam yet? That will help.
3.42 gear in the back will help too.

WORD! Woojong, what are people driving in Korea?
Hondas? Subaru? Mitsubishi? Is there much of an import/domestic scene over there?
Now, how badly do YOU want to see my brake lights?

Pacesetter headers, 3 inch y pipe, high flow cat, magnaflow catback, many suspension mods, intake, built a4 with 3200 torque converter, 5 angle head job, dis 4, firewires, etc etc....

I almost said that too in my previous post, but I thought about it and got confused.
Definitly do the ribbed pully mod to get up towards 10psi.
Drag radials are a must
Alot of people have HPTuner software, so I'm sure once you get it you can post asking for advice on what you should change.
Keith is there anyway to tell if your product will work on his car short of him sending you his PCM?
It will work on his car, it already has His PCM already has a pretty complete tune from Texas Speed, and for the first time (from what he told me), he can drive without detonation and hit boost without worrying. Agreed, for more boost and 11seconds, it would be a good tool to have so you can tweek the tune between runs. Big learning curve though!

but i wouldn't even think about taking my car to a shop that knows nothing about it. i'd find another one--regaurdless of how far away they are--before letting them touch my car.
Hello every one, ozzy here ive been looking at this page for weeks now finally joined. So my question is why is it that every turbo build forum just ends...
Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
