  • running lean??

I just got a custom tune done from texas speed w/ their special they had last month. It runs much better now, but my check engine light came on, durring normal driving, so i scanned it and this is what it came up with-
P0171- system too lean, left bank on 4 sensor systems
P0174- system too lean, right bank

I understand its telling me that im running too lean, but is that due to the tuning or do i need to upgrade my pump or injectors? What do you guys think?

      check for:

      Fuel pressure
      vacuum leaks
      intake leak
      exhaust leak before the 02's

Well, i know i have an exhaust leak somewhere on the drivers side. Not sure if its the header or the EGR though. I just replaced the gaskets on the headers when i did a head swap. Ive gone back twice since then and retightened everything, but i cant stop the leak.

Also, where can i get an a/f readout?

without someone with wide band you can't. But fix teh exhaust leak. it will drive the 02's lean and add un needed fuel.

I had the same problem on highway. There is no leaks that I can find. Just comes on. It happened 3 times, and for last 4 month its ok. ??
