    not too sure if this is advanced enough, please move if not challenging enough. A buddy of mine offered to port the intake of my car and then port match the heads and stuff. Should i get to the valves too and bump up a bit? Will I cause problems? I dont plan on a new cam yet, but it will be in the plans after a bit. What kinda gains are seen from a simple port match?? Also will port the TB too.. Thanks. I am new to the serious stuff, but hope to get knowlegeable so I can deal with this myself...

    gains will be very minimal from a port match.. slim to none.

    I have intakes ported and I doubt they did anything for me.

      Same here on the 3.4L V6...until I threw the cam in, I could not tell a whole lot of difference.
