Not jsut the magnum roller tips, but the expensive ones.
I know the sbc narrow body rockers will fit the 2.8/3.1/3.4 iron heads, just wondering if any has gotten a price break on them & where they got them. cheapest I've seen so far is summit 16/299.99 for 16. should be cheaper for a 6, just order the nuts from the magnum tips & there you go.

geez. i am set to buy a set of these..and you can get em from PAW (performance Automotive warehouse) for about 320 a SET.
geez..and thats the 1.6 ratio. call Crane and buy them direct, it'll save you a chunk of change. unless crane drastically raised their prices...450..heh..
well when I first put them on, and started the car, I heard LOUD knocking, but the car ran fine so I didn't care, since I heard they were suppost to be a little loud anyway lol....500 miles later a rocker flew loose so I tore it apart again, and looked at my valve covers, hummm, nice rocker shaped indentations on them LOL.....so I had to double up on the valve cover gaskets and locktite the rocker studs, they have been working great since then, no noise, and smoooooth :D
Get new Rocker studs from ARP, they are about 1/4 shorter thatn stocker studs. I have not had a problem with them knocking against the vavle cover but they are a bit noisy. A noise you can live with though. :D

How much of a gain would be seen from porting and polishing the heads and running 1.6 roller tipped rockers? All of this on the stock cam? How about with a 3 angle valve job?
Will the roller tipped rockers hit the valve covers or just the full roller rockers?

The noise was a problem with fuel/air mixture problem I am led to believe. I had a ASP commputer module on there. As soon as I took it off the noise stopped. Go figure. Rickers were adjust just fine.
