John_D..that stall seems pretty low. Are you planning on going a nitrous route?

Did you finish the swap yet? I'm 2 weeks into mine.

Yep... First nitrous, probably a 100 shot, then if all goes well, a 150 shot.

After I play with that for a while, I'll probably try to figure out how to make a bracket to put my Powerdyne blower on it. And pull the shot back down to about a 50 or so at that time.

I pulled the v6 out in early July and finished the swap in early August. Had to track down a steering rack and a few other miscellaneous things.

Dyno'd it in August and took it to the track in September. :D

      How's your swap coming along?

        It's coming along..

I don't know how much you know about my set-up,,but I decided to re-wire everything. That's going to take the longest. Actually swapping engine/components ain't no thang`..it's all the wiring BS.

I've also been blowing money on more parts before I even have this thing put together.

It sounds like you really built up your engine before you put it in. That's the smart thing to do. As long as the engine is out,,you mine as well build it up. I was debating making everything stock to get #'s first..but I just can't resist bolt-ons! ;) I hope to be done within another 2 weeks. Hopefully weather will hold off a little longer this year so I can enjoy it before winter. Next year I have plans on making it a real beast.

Did you do the swap yourself? Or did a mechanic do it?

Yeah I can see the wiring being a big deal!

          I did it all myself.

Call Texas Speed! Once in a while they keep one in stock (if it doesn't get sold too fast), and they can have them drop-shipped very quickly if needed. They also have very competitive pricing.

I got most of my stuff from TSP, TEA, and a few things from Thunder. Since TEA was local for me and I knew one of the guys there, I gave them the chance to beat the TSP prices, but on several items they couldn't do it...

My things from TSP would arrive in about 4 days usually. Thunder is about 3 days for me. It just depends on where you are located.

I agree. I just talked to Speed Inc and ordered all the parts I need. They gave me a great discount on the total price too,,and I can pick everything up and save on shipping. They had a K-memeber in stock too

I ran into a PITA set back in my swap.. :(
The stock K-member I was originally going to put in was bent pretty bad..and instead of risking it, I ordered the tubular and a lot of other suspension parts aslong as I'm at it. Now I have to take Everything back out to put this new K in. Oh well...I should have done it in the first place. Fun stuff! :D
