  • Does anyone else think this is bad?

    I found this after pulling my passeneger side cylinder heads.

    Edit: The link thing is being stupid so its on Page 6 on the site in my Sig.

    The chunck missing goes down on to the top compression ring land. So doesanyone think I need new pistons???

        so seeing as how i need new pistions what other reasons do i have to rebuild the whole bottom end?

          b/c if your piston look like that who knows what the bearings looks like.

            and to get the piston/rod out of the cylinder you will have to pull the pan and take at least that one rod out, and re using an old bearing is just asking for trouble, might as well do em all at the same time

              Holy Crap Man!!!! I was bored today and was looking to see if anything else was wrong with my engine and I noticed that theres another pistion with a chunk missing!!! Well looks like I have no choice now but to rebuild....
