What things should I be aware of to make my life easier when removing my 3.4L from the bottoM??? I plan on just rolling out the engine tranny together and lifting the front of the car up with a engine lift. Note the engine is already stripped down to the just the block.

Yeah man, if you have an engine crane, take it out from the top...tranny and all. That's what I did. Not trying to be an *** or anything, but why from the bottom??? You would have to LIFT the whole car up about 5 feet to totally clear everything.1995 Pontiac Firebird

b/c it seems easier, plus its only got to clear the block...i get the hoist tomorrow so since everyone says take it from the top i'll try that first. Thanks everyone!!

yeah do it from the top. much easeir taking it out from the bottom would be a ton more work.Comment
