• advice on pulling engine from below...

What things should I be aware of to make my life easier when removing my 3.4L from the bottoM??? I plan on just rolling out the engine tranny together and lifting the front of the car up with a engine lift. Note the engine is already stripped down to the just the block.

The engine is stripped out already, just take it out from the top.

Yeah man, if you have an engine crane, take it out from the top...tranny and all. That's what I did. I didn't have any engine clearance problems or anything.

Not trying to be an *** or anything, but why from the bottom??? You would have to LIFT the whole car up about 5 feet to totally clear everything.

b/c it seems easier, plus its only got to clear the block...i get the hoist tomorrow so since everyone says take it from the top i'll try that first. Thanks everyone!!
