I have the lt1 competition springs from supersix motorsports and i was wondering if i can get my rev limiter raised to 7000 rpm without any problems? I know most people will probably say 6500 rpm would be cool but do any of you think i can go to 7000 without any problems?, If not then what is the max i can raise it to without any problems? I have a comp 220/224 114 cam i will be running 3600 stall and atleast 3.73s possibly 4.10s, When i have the rev limiter raised do you think this cam will still be to big and not give me any decent n/a results or will i most likely get nice n/a results being my rev limiter will be raised and i will be able to take advantage of the power since it will be up there in the rpm band? Thanks for the help guys.

I don't think getting higher RPM's will help you unless you do some major engine changes. Chevy did a great job with our engine and the RMP range we have is the best powerband for it. Unless you change things like the cam or stroke there is no need to raise the RPM's. Your times will be slower. I'm going to move this to Advanced Tech.....
edit: Just saw that you have a cam already. My bad
