3.4L Ported Heads-Does Super Sixx still sell them?

They still have pics of them on their website? Do they still sell any 3.4L parts, or are they on a special order basis? If I called a local machine shop, would they port and polish 3.4L heads and match the intake? Or will they just laugh at me? Isn't the basic design of a 3.4L head the same as a small block V-8? Does the 60* V-6 have a different design that I am unaware of? Is there any hope for us 3.4 guys :( ???

Does anyone know if a 3.4 to 3.8 swap is easy? If I could buy a 3.8 off ebay and upgrade to L67 specs and drop it in, would it be worth it?

you can get them ported and polished locally supersix can do it but in my opinion charge to much i had mine done locally

swaping a 3.8 in would be just has hard as swaping a lt1 5.7l in so either stick with the 3.4 or get a lt1 up to you

I emailed Nu-Tek Motorsports yesterday to see if they could do the work and they returned my email today. They said they no longer do V6 work.

How much did you pay for your local head porting??? Was it quality work and did they match the intake manifold?

yea nutek don't mess with our engines anymore they stopped a while back

i got my heads(valve job, valve pockets) done and was very happy with the job got my intakes ported and polished and my heads and intakes all matched together also got my exhaust ports matched to my headers they also got me a full gasket kit fo 56 dollars the engine work all the machine work was like 689

CNC Cylinder Heads, yes the CNC, is in the same county as me. It's in Pinellas Park, FL and I am in Clearwater, FL.

I could call them up and see if they would port and polish my heads. I could literally just take them there myself and drop them off. I wonder how much they would charge?

I don't know of any local machine shops. There is tons around here, but I just don't know who does cylinder head porting, and if so, would they do V6 heads.

But I do have a world famous CNC shop right in my own back yard ;) .

Hey you live like less than 20 min from me im in Palm harbor... I was lookin into heads myself and my friends dad owns a machine shop. He does all the work and he has done some good work its on the corner of crystal beach off alt 19 towards tarpon for you on ur left. But CNC would be pretty cool too i dont know where it is, but i just thought id throw that out to you. It's cool to see another local F-Body enthusiast. I just found out yesterday that Fusion lives in Indian Rock Beach. We should all get together sometime. I'd like to see your nitrous kit :D .
