I was bored so I went to Comp Cams site to see what I could find and they have a ton of 60 degree V6 parts. They list for the 173c.i. (2.8L) but the 3.4 is just a bored + stroked 2.8 right?
I was wondering how much of an increase in not only hp but the better running of the engine would these parts contribute?
I looked up Crane's 60 V6 parts last year and they are expensive. Those gold roller rockers are $299  .
I found the following parts:
Lifters $80.99
Timing Chain $42.99
Roller Rockers 1.52 $112.95
1.6 $135.69
Pushrods $30.39
Valve Springs $38.69
Camshaft $116.39
Total: $445.14

One cam is 800-4800rpm/lift @.050" Lift of 1.52 rockers .425"intake/exhaust 110 degrees lobe separation.
The second is 1000-5000rpm/.440/.440 lift,110 deg.
Are these good numbers? Could Comp custom grind the cam?
Just some food for thought.
